Return Policy

 

MãeAzul offers domestic returns for certain qualified merchandise.  Return expenses and handling  are not covered by MãeAzul.

All  qualified return items must be clean with sanitary stickers (applicable to all bottoms and one pieces), unwashed and with original hang tags attached within 21 days. Returns not abiding by this policy will be returned to sender. All items discounted, purchased on sale or using a promotional code are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

All earrings are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We gladly accept exchanges and returns on hats, scarves and bags. Your satisfaction is important to us, we recommend you measure you revise our Size guide section  before purchasing hats. Should  you require any assistance contact hello@maeazul.comFor all acceptable returned items, a  credit will be issued within 5 to 7 business days upon processing and approving the receiving original qualified items.

All shipping and handling charges, gift cards and store credit are nonrefundable.. Items purchased at MãeAzul.com are warrantied for 6 months. MãeAzul does not warranty items purchased at trunk shows or any other retailer.  

 DOMESTIC RETURN PROCESS:

1)     Go to https://www.maeazul.com/a/returns  

2)     Enter your email and order number and submit return request

3)     If your return is eligible, MãeAzul will email you a prepaid shipping label

4)     Include invoice and clean unwashed, stain free products with hang tags in the original box, or package of choice

5)     Attach your prepaid label to the package, and secure with tape

6)     Drop off at the appropriate shipping center

7)     Sit back and we will email  confirmation of your credit minus the return shipping label expense once your return has been processed

Returns

Our policy lasts 21 days. If 21 days have gone by since your purchase,  we can’t offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your qualified item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. All our hats and  earrings sale items, and items purchased with a discount code are considered final sale. All items purchased on Popup stores, show, trade shows are final.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards, items purchased with discounted code, store credits.


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.




Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned qualified item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will  be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at orders@maeazul.com.

Sale items and discounted items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, sale items and those purchased with a discounted code cannot be refunded. Sale items and discounted items are final.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged within 6 months of purchase at MãeAzul.com. If you need to exchange a damaged qualified item, send us an email at orders@maeazul.com and we will instruct you of the process as well as send you a one time courtesy shipping label. If the items qualify as damaged under our warranty , we will process a refund in the amount of the transaction. No exchanges will be possible as we can't guarantee inventory and availability of our products.

Exchanges:  We do not offer exchanges on any of our products. 

If you wish to exchange an item for the same one in a different size/color, please follow the return process (detailed above) and place a new order. We are unable to guarantee inventory and availability of any of our products, thus we do not offer exchanges for same items in different variances. 


Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping:
To return your product, follow steps detailed above.  

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
